GHSC provided consulting services for the exterior wall design, construction documents, specifications, procurement and shop drawing review of the façade. Gordon H. Smith Corp. also performed mock-up construction and testing oversight and on site quality assurance inspection.
Walt Disney Concert Hall is widely considered a masterwork of architecture and fabrication for its form and for its signature metal clad curtain wall. Design is celebrated but the details make a project successful. GHSC is pleased to have contributed to another North American architectural jewel that enjoys its good press, and whose building enclosure performance is on par with its stature.

Presenting, The Walt Disney Concert Hall
Clad in stainless steel skins, GHSC collaborated closely with Gehry and Associates to provide this unique and iconic concert hall, a gift to the City of Los Angeles.
